Johns Hopkins Ion Channel Center (JHICC), as a member of MLPCN, will work closely with other network Centers with dedicated medicinal chemistry expertise. In particular, we are already working closely with specialized chemistry centers at the University of Kansas and Vanderbilt University to develop chemical probes for ion channel targets.

On-site chemistry projects are being pursued by collaboration with medicinal chemists in Department of Pharmacology, Brain Science Institute and Lieber Institute.
